True to it's name, 24 was a US TV series, each following 24 hours in counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauers life. Each series comprised of 24 episodes, and the show successfully ran for 8 seasons between 2001 - 2010. A TV film was released between seasons 6 and 7, and a 9th season was screened in 2014. A spin-off series ran in 2017, and there continues to be discussion regarding more reboots.
